Here at Top Tier Bakery we provide all couples with a bespoke design for their special day. All details, flavours and designs are chosen by you to create a truly delicious unique cake.
Please note, we would love to create every style of wedding cake, however we have taken the decision to focus solely on buttercream cakes and will no longer be taking on fondant wedding cake orders.

How it works:
Please send us an email to emma.toptierbakery@gmail.com or fill in the contact form below and we will get back to you with a personalised quote. If you decide you would like to go ahead we require a £50.00 deposit in order to secure the date and the remainder payment will be due 2 months before your wedding date.

Wedding Booking F.A.Q's

How far in advance should I book my wedding cake?
It's completely up to you! If you know you'd love us to create your wedding cake then the earlier you book and and secure your date the better! However, most couples usually book around 10 months in advance.

Can I try your cakes before booking?
Of course! We have cake sample boxes available for £30.00 which are deducted from the final balance should you go ahead with the booking. They are sent out once a month for you to enjoy at home and they can be purchased on our website here.

What flavours can I choose and can each tier be a different flavour?
We have a standard set of flavours available from rich chocolate to zesty lemon so there's definitely something for everyone! However, we are also more than happy to create something new especially for you! Each tier can be a different flavour which is really popular with all our couples.

How do I know what size cake I will need?
This largely depends on the number of evening guests you are catering for and we can advise you on this upon your enquiry.

How much will my cake cost?
This completely depends on the size of the cake and level of detail! Please get in contact for us to give you a personalised quote.

How much deposit do I need to pay and when is the final balance due?
The non refundable deposit to secure your wedding date is £50.00. The final balance is then due 2 months before your wedding date and at this time we would finalise your cake flavours and design.

Who will set up and delivery my wedding cake?
We will set up the cake which will be stacked at the venue and any decorations added. These might be sugar flowers or fresh flowers provided by your florist. Everything will be taken care of, so you can relax knowing your cake is in safe hands!

What if one of our guests have allergies?
Unfortunately due to all cakes being baked in the same kitchen and with the same equipment we cannot provide any 'free from' cakes. All allergy information will be given to the catering team at your venue on the day of the wedding and we can also discuss this beforehand as well.

Can I have fresh flowers on my cake?
Yes of course! We love working with fresh flowers and it's the perfect way to ensure your bouquets, decorations and cake all match perfectly! We are more than happy to source them or they can be provided by your florist. Although please note some flowers are not suitable to be used on cakes as they are poisonous, however please contact us if you're concerned and we can always adapt designs to use sugar flowers instead.
